SMR Trust First ever Family Meeting Held on 24 Th Dec '06* Venue: Sayed Modi Stadium, N.E.R. Gorakhpur

• First Gorakhpur meet of Saithwar- Mall community was held in Sayed Modi Indoor Stadium, N.E.R. Gorakhpur (UP). 
• More than 1000 people from “Mall -Saithwar”community were gathered to attend the meet.
• This large gathering becomes more significant because on the same date (24th december, 2006), there was a mammoth Vishwa Hindu Sammelan organised by Mahant Adityanath and there were traffic restrictions in the city too.
• Many elderly people who attended the meet, said that they had never seen a "Biradari Meet" like this before. In a nut shell the meet was a grand success and it sparked a ray of hope in the community. People are terming this meet as a fresh breez.
• Master of ceremony was Mr. Vinod Singh and anchored all proceedings of the meeting meticulously. Minutes of this meet can be covered with following central points.
• Meeting started at 13:30 hours on Sunday 24 th Dec'06 . Vinod Singh welcomed all the guests and organizing committee for the grand organization and the arrangement of the meet.
• Lightning of Lamp (Deep Prajwalan) was the first event and was lit by Sri Pramhans Mall.
• Coconut - breaking ceremony was performed by Deputy Transport Commissioner Shri S K Singh ji
• Proceeding started with National Anthem by group of schoolgirls, followed by
• welcome song for guests and invitees.
• Prize, a token of appreciation for welcome song and national anthem, was handed over to group of girls by Sh. Vinod Mall, Chief Patron of “Rajput Mall Saithwar” forum.
• Internet core (founder) group (Yahoo group)was called one by one:

1. First one to come on stage, was Rakesh Singh, founder of Yahoo group. He delivered his thoughts on upbringing of the community.
2. Chandreshwar Rao was next to come and he asked cooperation form the gathering for uplifting of the community to great height and success. He introduced himself as son of Bihar who has jump towards the community brothers of U.P. and urged them to make a "jump" towards Bihar to look for the "forgotten" community brothers and sisters living there.
3. Jai Singh delivered his thoughts on business development and invited like-minded people to join hand for finance management awareness.
4. Ravi Singh started his talk with his introduction and conveyed his vision to work for this society and our community.

• Message of Dr. SN Singh, Professor IIT Kanpur, was read by Sh. Shalendra Singh in his absence as he happened to abroad at that time.
• Shri Vinod Singh invited Shri V K Mall on stage to convey his thoughts on the forum .
• Shri VK Mall, Patron in Chief of the forum started his speech with welcome address to the gathering. Salient features of his speech can be tied in following points:

1. He gave brief introduction about the forum and informed that how this forum is different from other mall saithwar mahasabhas.
2. While unfolding the Vision of forum he emphasized that this forum is non-politicaland result oriented. It is purely democratic but doesn't carry any office bearers. Functional committees are formed to meet the intended objectives.
3. He also inform to the gathering that this forum has plan to grow all across the Mall Saithwar community including Gorakhpur and nearby places for the upliftment of this community.
4. He also presented socio-economic model to move forward and for successful functioning of the forum.
5. He touched upon the information link management to flow the required information to needy person.
6. He outline the forum's organisational strucutre with flow diagram with all the functional committee and also briefed about the Gorakhpur Hub Committee, its function and role for the forum. He describe the importance of nodal persons who will work at the grass root level to connect villages to our organisation.
7. He highlighted the mutual learning, coaching and counselling as a main motto of the forum and also proposed a plan to provide scholarship and financial help to needy person.
8. He summarized his speech with request for help from the gathering and thanks for their patient hearing.

• Volunteers distributed feedback forms to the gathering for their comments, queries and suggestions
• Vinod Singh invited Shri RP Singh, convener of the forum, to convey his thoughts on the forum :
• RP Singh began his speech with welcome address for the esteemed gathering. His speech can be encompassed in following points:

1. He explained the modus operandi of the forum and cited the example of ‘VAT VRIKSH' for working model of this forum.
2. He explained the working mode of the forum will be based on Gandhian philosophy. And he addressed the volunteers and gathering to work as team and support the team work for the good cause of community upliftment.
3. He also explained the process of joining the forum.
4. He summarized his speech with a thank note to the all the present members.
5. He summarized his speech with request for help from the gathering and thanks for their patient hearing.

• Shalendra Singh of website team took the dais and started with a philosophical message ‘Work for our own community from which we all begets'. He emphasized the importance of Internet in current world scenario and presence of our forum on Internet. He told that we need global identity and we all should work for global identity. He summarized his talks with an invitation to join forum and make this forum as role model for other community.
• KP Singh was invited to speak about the forum and he also expressed his views on the objective and working style of the forum.
• Lunch cum Tea break was announced for 15 minutes and everybody enjoyed delicious snacks and tea from the well arranged food stalls
• Proceeding resumed after tea break and Mr. VK Mall inaugurated the website of the forum ‘www.rajputms.co.in'and this noble work was performed at 16:20 hours on 24 th Dec'06
• Vinod Singh called each functional team one by one for introduction and explaination of roles and responsibilities.

1. Website Team: Website team came on stage and explained their roles and work. Chandreswar Rao of website team took approximately one hour to explain the details of website and its functioning to the gathering.
2. Finance Committee: Ravi Singh read chairperson Shri SK Mall's message on finance management in his absence.
3. Public Relation Team: Introduced by Shri NB Singh and each member of this team introduced himself and explained the role.
4. Survey Preparation Committee: KP Singh and Jai Singh explained the role of this committee to collect the data of saithwar-mall community from all villages and cities.
5. Jai Singh explained his role as investment adviser for this community and explained the importance of personal financial management in today's world.
6. Local Gorakhpur Team: Mahesh Singh, Vinod Singh and Shalendra Singh explained the role of Gorakhpur team will be work as nodal agency for community development activities.
7. Dr C. P. Mall of History Team said that his team will try to collect all available materials, books about the history of our community and will do a scientific research to reconstruct and put togather the broken & scattered sigments of our grand history.

• Memento, a toke of appreciation was given to all volunteers for their commendable work. Vinod Singh invited the each volunteer and distinguish guest to handover the memento.

• Meeting was concluded at 17:45hours, 24/12/2006 and everybody dispersed to their respective destinations
